Audio board has been updated. The new version has a RED PCB for easy identification.
The new RED version is NOT compatible with the old GREEN version and both audio boards should be of the same type.
There is a minimum host firmware requirement for units with RED PCBs to work when connected to host units.
Resetting the unit
There are no reset procedures for the DX168, all control is from a host unit.
The DT168 has a network reset switch. Hold down the recessed switch for 10 seconds to reset the network settings for the DT168. This will delete any static IP address and revert to factory default (DHCP / zero-conf).
After replacing PCB parts Firmware Update must be done.
After replacement of PCBs inside the unit the firmware will need to be updated to ensure that the correct firmware is installed in all parts of the unit. A host unit will automatically update the firmware on connected DX I/O expanders when they are connected. The DX168 can be updated from any compatible host system.
The DT168 cannot be updated from the host console
